It was Petros first time in Cape Town, and he managed to pull off the perfect surprise proposal.
On the rooftop of The Silo Hotel overlooking Table Mountain and The Waterfront. The location was magnificent, and Georgie’s shocked face was priceless Thankfully Petros thought of everything and booked a Cape Town photographer, ie ME to capture the moment.
I also loved that they are Greek and the columns at The rooftop bar reminded me of Athens. It felt like it was an amalgamation of their South African and Greek heritage. Greek weddings are the absolute best, a beautiful church ceremony, with lots of old traditions and then festive crazy fun dancing.
