Remon was very clear on how he wanted to go about proposing to his girlfriend. Jordan and Remon were on holiday in Cape Town for a few days, and Remon wanted a beach picnic on his anniversary. Unfortunately Cape Town weather is very unpredictable and the day before we had to change the date to one day earlier. But it turned out to be one of the most beautiful mornings. Quiet beach, blue sky, not a breath of wind. And Remon pulled off the surprise proposal flawlessly. Jordan did not see it coming and it was a privilege to witness and be a part of such a special occasion.

This truly was the perfect proposal. When I started doing all the planning for this proposal I seemed a bit out of my depth. I had a clear vision of a beach proposal, and I had to be a surprise! Along the way I was sure that I spoiled the surprise and that Jordan would have picked up on what was going on but she had no idea! We got to the beach with perfect weather and in time for our “picnic.” I walked Jordan over to the picnic that Jilda set up. Jordan was confused as to why someone would leave their things unattended, and as she turned around I was down on one knee…
Jilda made us both feel so comfortable, we had an amazing time and she captured the moment beautifully. We are beyond thrilled with the photos and so happy that Jilda was there to capture this milestone on our lives!
