5 years ago I had the amazing opportunity to photograph a wedding at the very beautiful Jardin do Lago in Funchal, Madeira. It is a very special place for Hiren and Dorianne as this is where they had their wedding reception.
5 years later they celebrated Suri’s christening at the same venue. This time the weather was for us and we were able to photograph in their lush, green and very beautiful gardens.
As a Cape Town wedding photographer I am really spoiled for beautiful places to photograph, but Madeira is a very close second. I have been fortunate to photograph at tidal pools along side cliffs, exotic gardens, black stone beaches, waterfalls, bridges, cobbled towns and beautiful churches and so much more! Madeira feels like a second home to me, and I look forward to going back.
