I love hearing the love story behind all my couples. Carl & Pieter may have only gotten married now, but I feel they have been “meant to be” for a long time. Their love is evident and I felt honoured being a witness to their private wedding, and 2 days later their celebration with their family and friends.
A few people at the reception asked me if I was friends with the couple, and it is hard to believe I had only met Carl only once before the wedding. I think this is a testament to the wonderful people that they are, that I felt like I had made new friends.
I wish you both and your fur babies a life time of happiness together.
PS: The wedding venue, La Petite Dauphine, is my new favourite Franschoek wedding venue. So gorgeous!
