Rich in history and natural splendour, with steep mountain ranges on both sides, and the Breede River that winds through the valley, it is an off the beaten track place of rest and quiet. Visitors to Bosjes will find the journey worthwhile, if only to see the Chapel, an architectural masterpiece, and to enjoy the landscaped Chapel gardens.
As one turns off onto the gravel road approaching the farm, one is surrounded by the inspiring Slanghoek and Waaihoek Mountain ranges.
Then, like a mirage, the strikingly white curves of the glass-walled Chapel appear. The Chapel, inspired by Psalm 36:7 was designed by Steyn Studio of London and appears to rest lightly on the body of water before it.
Where old meets new, Bosjes creates a unique setting for your wedding
Surrounded by nature, their Chapel seats 100 guests with a beautiful 360 degree view over the valley.
The restaurant has high ceilings, glass walls and a wooden terrace for outside dining.
An inviting menu with contemporary Bistro-style food awaits the visitor at Bosjes Kombuis.
The outside wall features a Delft-inspired mural designed by Cape Town-based artists Lucie de Moyencourt and Michael Chandler. The Bosjes Tree of Life is made up of 366 tiles and depicts the fauna and flora of the farm and its surroundings
