In December 2018 I photographed Wayne and Ana’s surprise engagement at the 12 Apostles. 1 month later they booked me for their wedding. I was super excited, firstly they were the sweetest couple, they were very into the “details” and they had chosen Bosjes as their wedding venue.
It was my first time at Bosjes, they are situated just outside of Worcester, surrounded by the Slanghoek and Waaihoek mountain ranges. Their chapel is the most dramatic setting in the middle of a country landscape.
It was an amazing day, Ana looked beautiful, Wayne rather dashing in his navy suit and they were both so relaxed. I definitely had many jump up and down moments from pure excitement. When I photograph weddings I am super chilled, the day is about the couple and their guests, and me capturing it. But during the couple shoot, I can’t always hide my joy and you can literally see me clap or jump up and down, I just can’t contain myself. This wedding was definitely one of those days. Thank you Wayne and Ana for my last wedding before this lockdown. I didn’t want my editing to end. I just loved being part of your celebrations from the proposal till today.
On a personal note. I hope everyone is staying safe and indoors. I would like to wish everyone a blessed Easter and I can not wait to shoot my next wedding after these very uncertain times.
