Being a witness to a wedding is always a very special thing. I get to capture moments between couples that no one else gets to see. Sonia and Fabio were no exception. They had only eyes for each other. I found the church ceremony to be the most precious time for them. Little gestures, touching hands, looking straight into each others eyes, laughing all these moments just shone through, as if they were the only ones in the chapel. I hope you both continue to be this way with each other.
I felt very honoured to be photographing their wedding in Madeira, Portugal. I absolutely adore destination weddings and I feel so grateful that couples trust me enough to fly me over to their country and be their wedding photographer.
Quinta do Lorde was the perfect venue. Everything at one location. Sonia was able to get dressed there and walk to the chapel. All the photos were taken in the resort and the food and hospitality were 5 star.
