Being a Cape Town wedding photographer, I am super fortunate to shoot at the most beautiful wedding venues. Then once in a while I get to be a destination wedding photographer and I get to travel the globe. This year has been an amazing year. I photographed 2 weddings in Portugal, Madeira, a wedding in Harare, Zimbabwe and next month I fly to Dubai.
What was quite a suprise was getting the opportunity to shoot with Jo-Ann in Angola. Angolan weddings are grand. The people all dress up and look gorgeous. The churches are old Catholic churches which are ornate and beautiful. Tania and Jose’s wedding was no exception. The ceremony was held by the Archbishop which was a true honour. Tania looked very elegant in her imported wedding dress from Portugal and Jose looked dapper in his tails. Their reception was an absolute feast, the Moet was flowing and the food was in abundance, and everyone had an absolute party! Thanks Tania and Jose for allowing us the opportunity to witness such a special day.
