I don’t think Deborah and Stuart could of chosen a more sentimental venue to have their wedding reception than at Deborah’s family home. It was the perfect place for Lorraine from Lol’s Flower and decor to do her magic.
She transformed their garden into an elegant venue with accents of gold and touches of pastel flowers. The only thing that might have stolen the show was Deborah in her Janita Toerien wedding gown. It was old school glamour and Deborah looked simply beautiful.
The Jewish wedding ceremony was held at Stellenberg Gardens, a gem of a place, hidden and magical. I love the Jewish rituals, from the Bedekin, signing of the Ketuba and the vows under the Huppa. It is all full of symbolism and ancient traditions. So the ceremony in the middle of this garden felt like we were in the Garden of Eden.
Like all Jewish weddings, once the ceremony and formalities are done, the party starts. The Israeli dancing is always crazy and everyone just has the best time. Deborah and Stuart, may your marriage be as your wedding day. Filled with tradition, beauty and lots of fun times.
